Bioprinting: Learn The Basics of Three-Dimensional (3D) printing Technology
People have seen low-cost 3D printers or may be aware of 3D printing technology that can create such objects of a particular design and structure. However, 3D printing is also enabling life saving and creating personalized solutions for essential medical and emergency problems. Additive manufacturing, otherwise known as 3D printing, is driving major innovations in many areas, such as sciences, medicine, biochemistry, engineering, nanotechnology, manufacturing, art, education and other fields of knowledge. Recent advances have enabled 3D printing of biocompatible materials, cells and supporting factors into complex 3D structures called 3D bioprinting.
